As a Cybersecurity Assurance and Response Specialist at Zellis, you will play a critical role in supporting the Security team in all aspects of Security Assurance and Security Incident Response to protect the services and data of our organisation and customers against unauthorised use, disclosure, modification, damage, and loss.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Security Measures: Develop and implement security measures to protect information assets from security threats and to respond to security incidents.
- Threat Modelling and Data Flow Mapping: Conduct threat modelling and data flow mapping to identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities.
- Advising the Business: Advise the business on security control deployment and general security requirements.
- Internal Security Control Assessments: Conduct internal security control assessments to ensure compliance with security policies and standards.
- Security Risk Assessments: Conduct security risk assessments to identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities.
- Audit and Certification Activities: Participate in audit and certification activities to ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.
- Security Incident Response: Respond to security incidents, including investigation and evidence gathering, and reporting on Information Security Incidents.
- Managing Security Related Issues: Manage security related issues, ensuring that issues are reviewed, assigned, monitored, and progressed appropriately.
- Security Metrics and Reporting: Produce and report security metrics to stakeholders.
- Security Awareness Training: Create, maintain, and deliver security awareness training for the organisation.
- Client-Facing Commercial Engagements: Support client-facing commercial engagements in relation to the various aspects of our information security posture.
- Security Projects and Service Improvements: Assist in all aspects of Security projects and service improvements as required.
- Critical Competencies: Recognised qualification in a relevant technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience in a similar role.
- Security Knowledge: Understands current and emerging Security practices and standards, including ISO27001:2013/2022, CSA, Cyber Essentials, and NIST principles.
- Emerging Technologies: Understanding of emerging technologies and general network and infrastructure knowledge.
- Cyber-Security Knowledge: Cyber-security knowledge across multiple practices, including Threat Management, Security Operations, and Testing.
- Essential Skills/Behaviours: Excellent communication skills, strong team player, ability to take ownership of issues, be pro-active and take accountability, ability to be creative, and highly effective.
