Job Title: Business Support Manager and Executive Assistant to the Deputy Chief Executive

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Support Manager and Executive Assistant to provide high-quality administrative support to the Deputy Chief Executive and the office of the Deputy Chief Executive.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the Deputy Chief Executive and the office of the Deputy Chief Executive.
  • Manage a complex and diverse workload efficiently and effectively, meeting tight deadlines.
  • Act as the accountable lead for administrative support within the office of the Deputy Chief Executive.
  • Support defined projects with a primary focus on delivering to key targets across agreed parameters.
  • Lead on the coordination and administration of the monthly and quarterly Executive Quality and Performance meetings.
Requirements:
  • Educated to degree level or NVQ level 5 or equivalent.
  • Postgraduate education or equivalent experience.
  • Customer Service/Business Admin/ITQ or equivalent professional experience.
  • Secretary qualification or equivalent.
Experience:
  • Significant experience as PA/Secretary at senior manager/executive/board director level.
  • Experience of organising complex meetings and/or conferences and minute taking.
  • Experience of supervising staff or a busy clerical/office environment.
  • Experience in working collaboratively across professions and services.
  • Secretarial and/or complex administrative experience.
  • Senior administrative experience in NHS.
Knowledge:
  • Comprehensive understanding of office procedures.
  • Confidentiality and data protection processes and procedures.
  • Good working knowledge of office procedures and all Microsoft office packages.
  • Awareness of NHS targets and Trust priorities.
Skills:
  • Ability to work confidentially and discreetly with sensitive information.
  • Excellent and effective communication skills.
  • Ability to produce accurate and detailed work.
  • Ability to manage projects and work as part of a team.
  • Ability to analyse and present complex data.
