The Role

As a Transformation Consultant: Retail Business Analytics Expert, you will contribute to the design and delivery of major transformation programmes, including designing new operating models, building business cases, and providing clear business-focused recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and improve business processes to support system redesign and process improvement projects, delivering client objectives.
  • Test hypotheses effectively and support the development of new opportunities.
  • Work cross-functionally to develop new tools that enable clients to solve problems.
  • Create clear and engaging presentations for clients with simple narratives for complex problems, drawing out recommendations and communicating effectively.
  • Coordinate work across the team proactively, ensuring readiness for client meetings and deliver work to deadlines with accurate internal reporting maintained.
  • Keep yourself up to date with the latest market trends and technological innovations in your domain.

Your Profile

You should have retail experience and a solid understanding of our clients' markets and their challenges, specifically knowledge of Commercial or Space Range and Display processes. Experience in Food or Fashion to General Merchandise or DIY is also beneficial. You must be passionate about retail and interested in learning and developing.

Requirements

  • IT skills include Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and mobile digital platforms.
  • Ability to articulate and perform clear communications to mixed audiences in writing through presentations and one-to-one interactions.
  • Attention to detail, ability to organize and structure time effectively, and a willingness to learn proactively improving your skills and capabilities.
  • Outcome-focused approach, determination, and tenacity to achieve with the ability to work flexibly in a team.

Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience

Good to Have: Expertise in retail business analytics, maintain close awareness of emerging technologies and their potential application for service offerings and products in the retail sector.
