We seek an accomplished Lead Data Scientist with a strong blend of data analytics expertise, including a solid grasp of Market Mix Modeling and ROI analytics. The ideal candidate should be a quick learner, possess exceptional coding capabilities, and have a proven track record of delivering results.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the application of cutting-edge data science techniques to address business challenges within the Marketing analytics team focused on the CPG space.
  • Effectively communicate the analytical approach and its alignment with objectives to stakeholders.
  • Develop clear, actionable solutions and recommendations tailored to client business needs.
  • Collaborate with client analytics teams to execute Market Mix Modelling / ROI analytics projects.
  • Engage in hands-on work on data analytics, model development, testing, and preparing data files for visualization platforms.
  • Analyze business data, providing valuable insights.
  • Work closely with decision-makers to transform business questions into verifiable hypotheses and data models.
  • Leverage expertise to tackle various analytics challenges, driving thought leadership.
  • Maintain regular communication with onsite teams and clients to gather requirements and provide updates.
  • Stay informed about external sources of ideas through conferences and community engagements.
  • Support demands from regulatory bodies, investor relations, etc., by developing innovative solutions using advanced techniques and tools.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience working with CPG clients or in a CPG company.
  • Graduation or post-graduation in Statistics, Mathematics, Management, or related fields.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Market Mix Modeling (MMM) and experience leading multiple MMM analytics projects.
  • Pricing and promotion analytics experience is a plus.
  • Databricks experience is mandatory.
  • Hands-on experience with Bayesian regression on Python and exposure to libraries like NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, and PyMC3.
  • Strong PowerPoint/Excel skills are essential.
  • Excellent logical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Adept at report writing and presenting findings.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
