We are seeking an experienced Senior Radiographer to join our team in Manchester.

About the Job:

This Band 6 Radiographer position involves supervising and training/teaching pre-registration students and new members of staff, as well as participating in an annual Personal Development Review. The successful candidate will be responsible for highlighting issues of inadequate performance, including capability and poor professional standards, for students and employees.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the radiotherapy pre-treatment department, rotating through CT scanners, vsim planning, and cannulation departments. They should be able to show flexibility with shift patterns and be punctual at all times.

We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Salary Estimate: £50,000 per annum based on location and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To supervise and train/teach pre-registration students and new members of staff.
  • To highlight issues of inadequate performance, including capability and poor professional standards, for students and employees.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Knowledge and understanding of current pre-treatment radiotherapy technologies.
  • Maintenance of knowledge and understanding of advanced radiotherapy techniques and technology.
  • Experience of radiotherapy virtual simulation planning.
