Job Overview

We are looking for a strategic and experienced Finance Director to lead our financial management function. As Interim Director of Finance, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction in financial matters, ensuring financial compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, and overseeing all aspects of financial management.

About the Role

This is a high-profile role that requires a strong leader who can manage a team and work closely with other senior management to contribute to the overall strategy of the organisation. The successful candidate will have experience in a senior financial leadership role and hold a professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, ACA, FCCA, or CIMA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction in financial matters
  • Ensure financial compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
  • Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
  • Lead and manage the finance team
  • Work closely with other senior management to contribute to the overall strategy of the organisation

Requirements
  • Professional accounting qualification within Finance (ACCA, ACA, FCCA, CIMA)
  • Experience in a senior financial leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of financial management and accounting principles
  • Excellent strategic thinking and leadership skills
  • Experience in the Not For Profit sector
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
