Early Years Graduate Programme

Overview

The Early Years Graduate Programme at Bright Horizons is a two-year work-based training programme designed to equip graduates with the skills and knowledge needed to become future leaders in early years education.

Programme Structure

Year 1 will focus on completing the Bright Horizons Future Leaders Programme, which includes shadowing early years specialists, learning from experienced nursery managers and teachers, and visiting other Bright Horizons nurseries.

Year 2 will allow participants to specialise further, either developing leadership skills and knowledge through the Deputy Managers Development Programme or by gaining Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS).

Key Responsibilities

  • Working as part of a nursery team to provide a caring and supportive environment for children aged 0-5.
  • Creating play and learning opportunities that support children's learning and development.
  • Completing tasks and projects as part of the qualification or talent programme.
  • Participating in development interventions and rotational placements to fast-track development into leadership roles.
  • Working collaboratively with the Grad Programme cohort to deliver projects and initiatives.

What We Offer

Bright Horizons offers a competitive salary, annual salary reviews, and a range of benefits, including:

  • Employee Appreciation events and awards.
  • Financial support through early access to wages, low-interest debt consolidation loans, and discounts on high street brands, travel, utilities, and days out.
  • Smart Health access, including 24/7 Virtual GP appointments, fitness programmes, and mental health support.
  • Development programme access for every stage of your career, tailored to your individual journey, with opportunities across our network of nurseries.

Requirements

We are looking for candidates with a BA Hons degree in Early Years/Childhood Studies or a similar field, GCSEs in Maths and English grade 4 or above, or Functional Skills Level 2, and a genuine interest in working with children. We also require a passion for helping children learn and make a difference in their lives, as well as a commitment to completing the two-year Graduate Programme.

We look forward to receiving your application.
