Job Description:

We are seeking an ambitious Business Development Specialist to join our team at Dalkia. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their sales skills and contribute to the growth of our business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business development in the UK's Energy market, achieving agreed sales targets for new customers and organic growth. You will also support the business by representing Dalkia, developing customer relationships, and building the company's reputation.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop a growth strategy for your market segment, identifying available industry streams and market segments. You will also work closely with the sales manager to develop a sales plan that sets out opportunities in detail and provides information necessary for business leaders to make decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive business development in your market segment
  • Support the business by representing Dalkia
  • Develop customer relationships
  • Build Dalkia's reputation
  • Develop a growth strategy for your market segment
  • Work with the sales manager to develop a sales plan

Requirements:

  • Evidence of creating and growing sales to the benefit of a business
  • Track record of developing and maintaining client relationships
  • Good commercial acumen and negotiation skills
  • Understanding of industrial automation
  • Understanding of business development performance drivers

Salary:

An estimated salary of £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience, is available for this role.
