About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Professional to join our team at VP Forensic. As a Client Advocate, you will play a vital role in supporting our client in the Liverpool area.
Key Responsibilities
- Accessing the community to promote social interaction and engagement.
- Supporting the client in planning their day and interacting meaningfully with their surroundings.
- Assisting with daily living tasks, including cooking and domestic duties.
- Maintaining accurate and detailed records of client activities.
- Motivating and encouraging the client to achieve their goals and aspirations.
- Supporting the client during social visits with family and friends.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience in childcare or a related field.
- Fluent English and Polish language skills (desirable).
- A strong and empathetic character, with the ability to demonstrate a consistent approach to challenging behaviors.
- A good understanding of complex behaviors and brain injury.
- Full working rights in the UK (we do not offer sponsorship).
