As a Principal Marine Design Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering marine designs that meet the highest standards of quality and safety. You will work closely with our team of engineers to ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop marine structures, including ports, harbours, and coastal defence systems
  • Ensure that all designs meet the relevant safety and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with our team of engineers to deliver high-quality projects
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure that construction work is carried out according to plan
  • Monitor and manage project progress, identifying and mitigating any potential risks

Requirements:

  • MSc or MEng in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Chartered Engineer status or near-chartered
  • Minimum 6-10 years' experience in marine civil engineering
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

Salary: £80,000 - £100,000 per annum (dependent on experience), plus benefits package.
