SMART Education Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled SEN Teacher to support students with Special Educational Needs in Birmingham.

About the Position:

This role offers a unique opportunity to work collaboratively with students, parents, and other professionals to create personalised learning experiences that foster growth and achievement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver engaging lesson plans, incorporating both national curriculum and alternative approaches to education.
  • Work closely with schools and stakeholders to monitor and evaluate student progress, making adjustments as needed.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of EHCPs, ensuring alignment with individual needs and goals.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress, identifying areas for improvement and celebrating successes.
Requirements:
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Demonstrate experience working with SEN students across various age ranges and abilities.
  • Show confidence in using technology to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Possess excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Have a strong subject knowledge, particularly in core areas such as English, Maths, and Science.
