Accounts Payable Role in Central Milton Keynes

Macildowie Recruitment and Retention is partnering with a prominent business in Central Milton Keynes to find a skilled Temporary Accounts Payable Assistant to join their dynamic finance team.

About the Position:

This is an excellent opportunity to take on a key role in our Accounts Payable operation, reporting directly to the Purchase Ledger Manager. As the Temporary Accounts Payable Assistant, you will be responsible for overseeing key purchase ledger responsibilities with support from one other purchase ledger assistant and the credit control team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage invoices proactively, ensuring timely payment and accurate records.
  • Reconcile PO numbers with various departments to verify purchase order numbers for all relevant invoices.
  • Communicate with suppliers to secure VAT receipts, resolving any discrepancies promptly and professionally.
  • Resolve queries and discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner.

Details:

  • Temporary assignment with a possible extension of 4-6 months.
  • Up to £16 per hour.
  • Hybrid working available, with a minimum of two days a week in the office.
  • Flexibility with working hours, with a minimum of 35 hours a week.
