Shift Leader

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Shift Leader to join our team at Tesco. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, ensuring that customers receive excellent service, and leading a team of colleagues to achieve sales and customer satisfaction targets.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate store operations, including receiving, stocking, and maintaining a clean and well-organized store environment.
- Lead a team of colleagues, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure they are equipped to deliver excellent customer service.
- Manage store inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking merchandise.
- Monitor and control store expenses, including labor, inventory, and supplies.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, sales, and employee engagement.
- Collaborate with other departments, including HR, finance, and logistics, to ensure seamless store operations.
- Proven leadership and management experience in a retail or customer-facing environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of adaptability and flexibility.
