Job Title: Occupational Therapist - Neurology Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Neural Pathways, a leading provider of neurology rehabilitation services. As a Neurology Specialist, you will work with clients with a wide range of neurological conditions, including acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury, stroke, and neurological degenerative conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial client assessments and develop rehabilitation plans in collaboration with the inter-disciplinary team.
  • Provide specialist differential diagnosis, clinical advice, and therapy/management plans to clients with neurological impairments.
  • Work autonomously, using initiative, and take responsibility for defined areas of clinical specialism.
  • Develop advanced skills and share knowledge and skills with others via mentorship, training, and joint sessions.
  • Be accountable for own professional actions and recognize own professional boundaries.

Requirements:

  • Recognized qualification as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years post-graduate experience.
  • Current registration with HCPC as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience of working within a Neurological Care and Rehabilitation setting.
