Early Years Support Professional

Job Summary
This role is based in various locations and involves working full-time or part-time on a full-year or term-time basis. The advertised salary is for full-time, full-year employment, and the salary will be pro-rata for term-time and part-time vacancies.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to effective early learning opportunities and environments by working as part of a team to support the development of high-quality, integrated early years services for children and families.
- Hold or be willing to work towards a Support Worker Qualification within an agreed timescale and be eligible for registration with the Scottish Social Services Council.
- Have experience of early years provision and possess good organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Work well under direction, use your own initiative as required, and be an effective team worker who understands the importance of confidentiality.

Working with Dundee City Council
This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act. The preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check, prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Dundee City Council.
