About the Role:

The City of Edinburgh Council is seeking three highly skilled Early Years Officers to join their team at Kirkliston Primary Early Learning and Childcare. As an Early Years Officer, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality childcare and education to children in a full-year setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work 36 hours per week over a variation of shifts on a rota basis
  • Provide childcare and education to children in a full-year setting
  • Develop and implement engaging learning programs
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a high-quality service
  • Meet the requirements for registration with the SSSC as a Practitioner in Day Care of Children

Requirements:

  • Eligibility for registration with the SSSC as a Practitioner in Day Care of Children
  • Recognised qualification in early years education or a related field
