Quality Inspection Engineer Opportunity

At Rubicon People Partnership's client, a renowned engineering business specializing in automotive restoration, we're seeking a skilled Quality Inspection Engineer to join our team.

About the Role:

  • Oversee and manage the Quality department, serving as the primary point of contact for staff.
  • Ensure the inspection of all components received from suppliers and produced internally.
  • Utilize manual and computer-aided inspection equipment, such as verniers, micrometers, CMM machines, etc.
  • Investigate, report, and correct non-conformance issues.
  • Compile detailed inspection reports for new products, suppliers, or parts manufactured/modified/repaired.
  • Collaborate closely with the R&D department on new product development.
  • Liaise with customers and suppliers as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in Quality Inspection and Engineering within manufacturing.
  • Hands-on experience with inspection and reporting, as well as proficiency in paperwork.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with various departments.
  • Proficiency in working with computers.
  • A consistent employment history with available references.
