Job Description

A highly skilled Quality Inspection Engineer is required to oversee the Quality department at our client's facility in Salisbury. This exciting opportunity will see you play a crucial part in ensuring the quality of components and assemblies through the manufacturing process.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in quality inspection and engineering within a manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for controlling the inspection of all parts received from suppliers and all parts produced internally, as well as investigating and reporting non-conformance issues.

You will work closely with the R&D department regarding new product development and liaise with customers and suppliers where necessary. The role requires both hands-on experience with inspection as well as the reporting and paperwork side of quality.

A strong understanding of computer-aided inspection equipment such as verniers, micrometres, CMM machines, etc., is essential. Additionally, you will need to have good communication skills to liaise with various departments within the business.

We are looking for an individual who can provide accurate and timely reports on inspection results and contribute to the ongoing improvement of our quality processes.
