Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description:

We are partnering with a leading Consumer Goods company to find a skilled Maintenance Technician for a 6-month fixed-term contract. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for:

  • Attending and repairing breakdowns on all production lines to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.
  • Improving Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) by proactively preventing failures and implementing innovative solutions.
  • Collaborating with operators to promote best practices in mechanical equipment maintenance and operation.
  • Undertaking further training to enhance technical skills and support the team.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods environment is preferred.
  • Proven track record of working with predictive and planned maintenance, as well as Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • Education in an Engineering discipline (ONC or higher).
  • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

Working Hours: Shift work will be required to meet the needs of the production schedule.
