About the Apprenticeship

This apprenticeship is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in electrical maintenance and repair. As an apprentice, you will work alongside experienced technicians to learn the latest techniques and technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Adhere to all health and safety standards
  • Enroll on and complete an Electrical Engineering college learning path
  • Develop problem-solving skills using a methodical and logical approach
  • Produce high-quality academic and NVQ work within agreed timeframes
  • Learn to interact with and understand PLC systems, ABB Industrial Robot maintenance, and fault finding
  • Work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a positive working environment
  • Collect and analyze data accurately
  • Consider environmental factors and dispose of waste responsibly

Requirements

To be successful in this apprenticeship, you will need:

  • 5 GCSEs grade C and above, including a B in Maths and at least C in Science and English Language
  • Natural ability to take ownership of your working environment and maintain a positive attitude
  • Passion for engineering and a drive to succeed
  • Ability to make confident decisions in a working environment
