Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Assistant to join our client's engineering team in Lancing. As a key member of the fabrication team, you will assist the skilled machine operators on the shop floor, ensuring the smooth production of high-quality metal components.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist fabricators on the shop floor with metalworking tasks
  • Help with lifting, cutting, loading, and other tasks as required
  • Support the skilled machine operators with metal fabrication machinery
  • Contribute to the production of high-quality metal components

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Machine operation and metalworking skills
  • Physical fitness to perform lifting and other tasks
  • UK driving license (desirable)

What We Offer:

  • Temporary to permanent contract
  • 42 hours per week + overtime
  • 31 days holiday (including Bank Holidays)
