Charles Russell Speechlys LLP, a leading law firm, is seeking an experienced eDiscovery Manager to join their Compliance and Risk team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

The role involves providing guidance and recommendations on suitable technology/eDiscovery/forensics tools for the review of client files and documents. You will also assist with file transfers and data subject access requests (DSARs), ensuring that requests are handled appropriately, efficiently, and professionally.

In this exciting opportunity, you will have the chance to work closely with the Data Privacy Officer and Risk Legal paralegals to establish and lead the eDiscovery function at CRS. You will engage with various teams to develop improved processes and governance, and ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory obligations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and lead the eDiscovery function at CRS
  • Engage with Data Management, IT, Information Security, Procurement, and other teams to develop improved processes and governance
  • Provide guidance and recommendations on suitable technology/eDiscovery/forensics tools for the review of client files and documents
  • Assist Risk Legal paralegals and the DPO with file transfers and DSARs
  • Support additional requests for assistance with DSARs and disclosure for other teams, as required

We are looking for someone with at least 5 years of eDiscovery experience, preferably in a law firm environment. You should have advanced experience in Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Teams, iManage, Relativity Suite, and other related software. A strong understanding of litigation, DSARs, and file transfer processes is essential.

The estimated salary for this role is £65,000-£80,000 per annum, depending on experience. If you are a motivated and organized individual with a passion for eDiscovery, we would love to hear from you.
