We are a global Private Equity-led FMCG company with operations across Europe and a strong focus on UK & Ireland, France, and Benelux. Our Supply Planning team in the UK is currently recruiting for a Senior Supply Chain Planner.

Job Summary

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team of 400+ people across Europe. As a Senior Supply Chain Planner, you will be responsible for the finished goods planning for the UK Market for the 0-12 week horizon.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain optimized supply plans to meet short-term demand requirements, using both internal and external supply networks, to achieve inventory, service level, and obsolete KPIs.
  • Participate in the Supply Management Review (SMR) as part of the monthly S&OP cycle, highlighting risk and opportunities in the short term.
  • Support the long-term planning process by identifying and mitigating risks and opportunities in the short term.
  • Take ownership of obsolete risk visibility in the S&OE Horizon, leading the UKI Obsolete review action planning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to limit risk and create action plans to mitigate potential issues.
  • Contribute to the quarterly review of safety stock and input new product safety stock parameters.
  • Review the portfolio of SKUs with functional leads and support NPD launch.

Role Accountabilities

  • Deliver an optimized cross-site manufacturing supply plan to maintain target stock holdings of all SKUs within the network, ensuring target service levels for the UK market.
  • Perform 12-week demand and supply control, highlighting trade-offs and their implications, including financials.
  • Enable product supply for the commercial change agenda:
  • Support NPD projects and provide insight on feasibility, potential capacity, and service impacts, phase-in/phase-out time frames.
  • Effectively communicate changes to scheduling teams and the supply plan through appropriate channels.
  • Deliver against key objectives: obsolete, service, and days on hand at target.
  • Participate in the SMR as part of the monthly S&OP cycle, highlighting risk and opportunity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, or proven strong thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail, able to interrogate data and produce detailed outputs.
  • Track record of supply chain planning experience.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills to build and sustain a wide range of working relationships across multiple functions and sites.
  • Ability to use processes and performance KPIs to maximize results, limit risk, and effectively influence others.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Excel knowledge, SAP (IBP preferable).

Working Arrangements

This role is based in Farringdon and requires occasional office attendance.
