We are seeking an exceptional Audit Manager to join our esteemed team in London. As a Financial Services Assurance Leader, you will be responsible for providing top-notch audit services to our clients in the international development sector.

BDO is a leading accountancy and business advisory firm, renowned for its commitment to excellence and innovative approach. Our team of experts works closely with global institutions, including UN agencies, the European Commission, Foundations, and other Development Agencies, to provide assurance services such as financial and systems audits, certifications, internal control assessments, technical assistance, and consultancy services.

As a Financial Services Assurance Leader, you will have the opportunity to work on high-profile projects, collaborate with talented professionals, and contribute to the growth and success of our organization. You will be responsible for:

  • Leading engagement meetings and coordinating audit teams;
  • Preparing audit plans based on thorough understanding of client requirements;
  • Writing and reviewing audit reports;
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant grant contractual conditions;
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A professional accountancy qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIMA / DEC or equivalent);
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and a second language (French/Spanish or German);
  • Significant experience in audit and assurance work;
  • A genuine interest in international development and this sector;
  • An ability to communicate professionally and constructively;
  • A proven track record in audit and assurance work.

In return for your expertise and dedication, we offer a highly competitive salary of £80,000 - 100,000 per annum, depending on experience.
