Care Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Care Professional to join our team at Home Instead. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to a positive living environment that promotes the well-being and dignity of our clients.
- Demonstrate exceptional role modeling skills, setting a high standard for other staff members to follow.
- Maintain regular communication with management, raising concerns and ideas for improvement.
- Act as a mentor for new staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet our high standards.
- Be responsible for starting new care packages, ensuring a seamless transition for our clients.
- Introduce new and existing staff to clients, building strong relationships and trust.
- Cover visits due to annual leave, sickness, and other emergency requirements, ensuring 100% compliance in service delivery.
- Be available on allocated working days to cover any visits required, maintaining a high level of service delivery.
- Deliver companionship, personal care, and home help services as required, in line with the Job Description of the Care Professional.
- Be confident and self-motivated, with the ability to build and maintain strong, positive relationships.
- Be flexible to work days, evenings, weekends, and nights to meet the demands of the business.
- Have strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Have 6 months' industry knowledge and a willingness to undertake further education and training as required.
- Hold a full UK driving license and have access to your own vehicle.
This is a minimum of 30 contracted hours per week, with scope to build as and when needed. Your weekly rota may come through blank, but you will be used to cover annual leave and sickness, and will be paid regardless of whether you are required to pick up 30 hours or not.
