We are seeking a supportive and experienced Support Worker and Care Assistant to provide high-quality care and support to a young woman with a brain injury in her family home and within the community.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing full-time support, including light domestic duties and meal preparation.
- Assisting with daily living tasks, such as personal care and leisure activities.
- Communicating effectively with the client and their family, ensuring their needs are met and supported.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A qualification in care, such as the Care Certificate.
- Experience working in a community setting and people's own homes.
- A valid full UK driving license for manual and automatic vehicles.
- Mature, confident, and professional approach to providing support.
This role includes:
- A competitive salary of £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
- 5.6 weeks paid leave per year.
- Initial and ongoing training.
