Job Overview: Practice Support Specialist

Swadlincote Surgery is looking for a dedicated and hardworking individual to fill the role of Practice Support Specialist.

About the Role:

This position involves providing administrative support to our medical team, ensuring the smooth operation of our practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling patient inquiries, processing requests for appointments and repeat prescriptions, and maintaining accurate records.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Patient Care: Ensure patients receive high-quality care, responding to their queries and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
  2. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring all information is secure and confidential.
  3. Scheduling: Coordinate appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling, and canceling, as necessary.
  4. Policy and Procedure: Familiarize yourself with Practice policies and procedures, adhering to them at all times.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Previous experience working in a medical setting (desired).
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary: £20,000 - £26,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
