Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Consultant to join our team at Triple West Medical, based in north-east London. The successful candidate will specialise in Sexual & Reproductive Health and lead on the development of local sexual health systems, contraception services, and training.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership in the provision of high-quality and safe contraception services within an integrated sexual health service.
  • Collaborate with the service lead to deliver excellent patient outcomes and ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
  1. Fully registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) with a valid License to Practice.
  2. Hold MBBS, MBChB or equivalent qualifications.
  3. Be on the GMC Specialist Register with a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Community Sexual & Reproductive Health or Genitourinary Medicine, or have obtained it within six months of the interview date.
  4. Possess Membership of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare (MFSRH).
  5. Have letters of competence in subdermal implants and intrauterine techniques.
  6. Demonstrate extensive experience in providing reversible contraception methods.
  7. Show expertise in performing ultrasound scanning for managing complicated IUCs and deep implants, including removing lost IUCs with missing threads and deep impalpable implants.
  8. Evidence of delivering services to young people, including those under 16 years old.
  9. Able to provide STI management.
  10. Demonstrate significant contributions to successful teamwork.
What We Offer

We provide office accommodation and medical secretarial support. The post holder is expected to be available for ten programmed activities (PAs) each week, including one evening clinic. There may be a requirement to undertake a Saturday morning clinic on a 1 in 5 rota with time off in lieu – this will be confirmed.

The estimated annual salary for this position is £80,000-£110,000, depending on experience and location.
