Making a Difference in Mental Health Services

We are seeking a dedicated Substance Misuse Lead Clinician to join our team in Newham. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of innovative strategies to improve mental health outcomes for individuals struggling with substance misuse issues.

The successful candidate will work closely with local NHS trusts to enhance access to mental health services and substance misuse support. By reducing the burden on emergency and healthcare services, you will contribute to improving the overall health and wellbeing of individuals and their families.

  1. Strategic Planning and Collaboration: Work closely with mental health services and substance misuse services to develop and implement strategic plans that promote effective care coordination and improved mental health outcomes.
  2. Specialist Support and Training: Provide specialist support and training to colleagues working with this population, focusing on building capacity and promoting evidence-based practices.
  3. Quality Improvement Initiatives: Develop and lead quality improvement initiatives that enhance the delivery of high-quality mental health services and promote best practices within the organization.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of approximately £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a range of benefits that reflect our commitment to supporting the well-being of our employees.
