Join Princess Yachts as a skilled Hardwood Machinist to work at their Coypool site in Plymouth. This exciting opportunity offers a chance to be part of a world-renowned yacht brand.

Responsibilities:

* Produce component parts to drawings, cutting lists, or computerized programs
* Manufacture basic components from semi-automatic woodworking machines and/or detailed press machines
* Select materials, manufacture parts to correct standard, machine materials to information in drawings or cutting lists, and minor program changes as required
* Responsibility for finished products as well as work in progress
* Seek authorization for decisions made
* Access programs for machines
* Amend/re-write programs as necessary for new components
* Set up machines prior to use
* Cut material to size using a variety of machines
* Shape, bend, fold, drill components

Requirements:

* Previous experience in the form of an NVQ or City and Guilds/12 months experience within a Wood Machinist environment
* Post-employment up to 6 months training to reach desired quality standard
* CNC programming experience
* Experience in use of a varied range of hand tools/machines including computer controls
