Wood Machinist

We are a Shopfitting Company based in Estover, Plymouth and have a purpose-built factory to deliver bespoke interiors for any commercial or residential environment. Our modern machine shop with full CNC technology gives us the ability to manufacture all type of joinery and is complemented by our spray shop and in house upholstery department.

We are looking for a skilled wood machinist to join our team, the role would suit a trained machinist able to work with general wood machines and with experience on CNC machinery. You will be responsible for ensuring that the operations run smoothly and efficiently to produce high quality products.

**Responsibilities and Duties**

The role will encompass but not be restricted to the following tasks:

- Produce material as required for the joinery workshop from cutting sheets supplied.
- Set up, operate, maintain, and inspect machines.
- To ensure that all access to the machine shop is controlled.

**Qualifications/Experience**
- Proven experience as machinist in a joinery production setting.
- CNC experience would be an advantage.
- Basic math skills.
- Good manual dexterity and strong hand-eye coordination.
- Excellent communication skills in order to interact with team members at all levels.

Working Hours - 7.30am - 4.00pm Monday to Friday (40 hours per week), 20 days holiday per annum plus bank holidays.

Salary is dependent on experience, to include overtime as applicable.
