Paraplanner Job Description

Progeny is a dynamic and forward-thinking financial services firm that is experiencing a period of significant growth and expansion. As a result, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Paraplanner to join our team and support our Financial Planners in delivering exceptional client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Financial Planners in conducting research and analysis to meet client needs and objectives.
  • Prepare high-quality financial planning reports and suitability reports/letters for Financial Planners, including annual reviews, new business, or ad hoc advice reports.
  • Manage the presentation of technical data to the Financial Planners, ensuring that it is clear, concise, and easily understandable.
  • Compile cash flow models when required as part of the advice process.
Requirements
  • CII Diploma in Financial Planning/Regulated Financial Planning as a minimum, with a strong interest in working towards Chartered Status.
  • Proven experience in a paraplanning role gained within an advisory practice, with a good understanding of key areas of financial planning and advice.
  • Excellent technical skills, including the ability to interpret complex planning into clear and concise reports.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with Financial Planners and other stakeholders.
