About the RoleAs an Intelligence Officer, you will work closely with Intelligence Analysts and Researchers to research, gather, evaluate, develop, analyze, and disseminate intelligence for a range of objectives. You will manage the Threat, Harm, and Risk presented to the force and region, supporting the effective use of the National Decision Model (NDM).
Key Responsibilities- Conduct research and assessments on individuals identified as highest harm threats, analyzing and evaluating intelligence to inform decision-making.
- Gather, analyze, and de-conflict intelligence, producing case files and subject profiles to support investigations.
- Identify intelligence gaps and help set intelligence requirements to ensure a comprehensive understanding of threats.
- Access Police systems and open-source material, working closely with Intelligence Analysts to enhance the intelligence picture.
- Handle covertly obtained material in accordance with identified policy and process.
- Collaborate with partner agencies to provide intelligence support to major covert investigations.
- Conduct intelligence debriefs as necessary.
