Intelligence Analyst

As an Intelligence Analyst with Counter Terrorism Policing, you will play a critical role in supporting national priority counter-terrorism operations. Your primary responsibility will be to acquire, evaluate, and analyze secret intelligence to identify potential risks and offenders.
You will work closely with colleagues to gather further information, piece together intelligence pictures, and provide strategic analysis to improve the organization's understanding of terrorism and violent extremism.
- Provide comprehensive analytical products to interpret intelligence and drive the proactive acquisition of further intelligence and evidence.
- Identify risk, threat, vulnerabilities, and opportunities in support of national security operations.
- Deliver complex evidential analysis and expert testimony at court to secure the successful prosecution of terrorists.
- Develop effective horizon and environment scanning products to provide the local impact and context of international events.
- Contribute to the organization's understanding of the multiple facets of terrorism and violent extremism, influencing decision making of Police Senior Officers and Intelligence Managers.
- Deliver effective presentations and briefings at local, regional, and national levels.
- Liaise with various National Agencies, including Army, Police Forces, Local Authorities, and other specialists.
- Offer specialist guidance to Police Senior Investigating Officers, Intelligence Managers, and Intelligence Officers regarding live operations.
