About the Role

We are seeking an experienced carpenter to join our team as a first fix and second fix carpenter. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing first fix carpentry, including framing, floor joists, and roofing, as well as completing second fix carpentry, such as door frames, skirting boards, and architraves.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform first fix carpentry, including framing, floor joists, and roofing.
  • Complete second fix carpentry, including door frames, skirting boards, and architraves.
  • Execute roofing tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Assist with demolition work as required, ensuring safety and compliance on site.
  • Work closely with site managers and other trades to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace and uphold health and safety regulations at all times.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in first and second fix carpentry.
  • Skilled in roofing tasks, with the ability to work independently and solve problems on-site.
  • Must have a full set of tools required for the job.
  • Ability to undertake occasional demolition work.
  • Strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering quality work.
  • Able to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Reliable and punctual with a "can-do" attitude.
  • Willingness to travel to various sites across the UK.
