Job Overview

We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated carpenter to join our dynamic team and contribute to our continued success. As an experienced carpenter, you'll be responsible for both first and second fix carpentry, including roofing. You will also occasionally assist with demolition tasks as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform first fix carpentry: framing, floor joists, roofing, and other structural elements.
  • Complete second fix carpentry: door frames, skirting boards, architraves, and other finishing touches.
  • Execute roofing tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Assist with demolition work as required, ensuring safety and compliance on site.
  • Work closely with site managers and other trades to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace and uphold health and safety regulations at all times.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in first and second fix carpentry.
  • Skilled in roofing tasks, with the ability to work independently and solve problems on-site.
  • Must have a full set of tools required for the job.
  • Ability to undertake occasional demolition work.
  • Strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering quality work.
  • Able to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Reliable and punctual with a "can-do" attitude.
  • Willingness to travel to various sites across the UK.
