Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team at The London Clinic. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing financial expertise and support to ensure the smooth operation of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to provide insights into business performance, identifying trends, variances, and areas of concern.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare various financial reports for internal and external stakeholders, including management reports, regulatory filings, and tax returns.
  • Audit Support: Support the Finance Manager in areas of Audit, including production of Statutory Accounts and working with the finance manager to create a new Stat model.
  • Tax Accounting: Calculate and submit VAT returns for the group and calculating and submitting Corporation Tax returns for the group.
  • Month-end Close: Support the Finance Manager with the month-end pack and tasks as required.
  • Ad Hoc Projects: Participate in special projects or initiatives as assigned by management, which may involve process improvement initiatives, or other ad hoc tasks.
  • Compliance and Regulation: Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and accounting standards in all financial activities.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Qualified ACA, CIMA, or ACCA.
  • Skills: Excellent Excel skills, team player, attention to detail, strong technical accounting knowledge, and problem-solving skills.
