Financial Accountant Opportunity

A prestigious luxury hotel in Central London is seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to play a pivotal role in their ongoing renovation and expansion. This is a unique chance to join a world-class hospitality brand and contribute to its future success.

Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, you will be responsible for the financial reporting of the property and production of the statutory accounts. Inter-company loans, cash flow, and IFRS 16 will all come into play as you report to senior leadership and the owners on the financial health of the luxury hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ownership Reporting – P&L, Cash Flow, and other ad hoc reporting requests.
  • Lender reporting and covenant reporting.
  • Statutory reporting and responsibility of the statutory accounts.
  • Year-end audit requirements, ensuring compliance throughout the internal audit and being lead liaison with the external audit.
  • Balance sheet reconciliations and consolidation.
  • Play a major role in the budgeting process.

The successful candidate will be a Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) with at least 5 years' accounting experience. Ideal candidates will have a background in audit or industry exposure, with experience working with large hospitality clients a plus. Proficiency in Opera and SUN systems, along with advanced Excel skills, is essential. We're looking for a hands-on, adaptable individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively communicate with various departments.
