Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Diabetes Care Specialist to join our team at NELFT North East London Foundation Trust. This is a Band 7 fixed-term contract for 15 hours per week, with a strong focus on providing specialised dietetic assessment and treatment for adults in the community.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Nutrition & Dietetics or an equivalent postgraduate degree, and be registered as a Dietitian with the Health Care Professions Council. They will also possess excellent communication and time management skills, as well as experience in line management and student training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide highly specialist dietetic assessment and treatment for diabetic patients
  • Contribute to the development of team members through line management and student training
  • Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure coordinated service delivery
  • Assume professional and legal accountability for all aspects of work

Requirements:

  • Degree in Nutrition & Dietetics or equivalent postgraduate degree
  • Registered as a Dietitian with the Health Care Professions Council
  • Membership of the British Dietetics Association and specialist group

Salary: Estimated £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience
