Mechanical Equipment Specialist

Job Description: In this position, you will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and repair of our fleet, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with all relevant regulations. Your tasks will include carrying out inspections, servicing, and repairs on HGVs, company vehicles, and various plant machinery, diagnosing and rectifying electrical and mechanical faults across the fleet, assisting with MOT preparation and inspections as needed, and ensuring full compliance with all health and safety policies.
Required Skills and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need to be a qualified HGV Mechanic with experience in a workshop environment, hold a full UK driving licence, and have attention to detail and commitment to quality. Additionally, you should have a working knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems, an understanding of vehicle inspection standards and maintenance requirements, and initiative and flexibility to support the wider workshop function.
