Resident Site Forklift Engineer Contract: Permanent
Salary: Up to £36,000 + Overtime
The Briggs Equipment Group is a leading provider of asset management and maintenance solutions across the UK and Ireland. Ensuring all work complies with engineering standards and, as relevant, Briggs/manufacturer specification/tolerances.
Carrying out inspection/checks on own work as it proceeds and ensuring that the equipment performs satisfactorily and is safe before handing back to the customer.
Identifying any further work required on a machine and ensure the customer is made aware of the fact, especially where a cost to the customer is to be incurred. Ensure patched trucks are PM compliant
What will help you to excel in this role:
Good understanding of hydraulic, mechanical and electrical principals
A base salary up too £34,232 pa based on a 40 hour working week
Overtime is payable at x1.5 Monday – Saturday and x2 on Sunday
Vehicle is available for private use if desired (tax to be paid)
