Companionship Support Worker

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and caring Female Companion to support a young lady with her daily life, providing companionship and assistance as needed. The ideal candidate will be reliable, trustworthy, and have excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one support and companionship to the young lady
- Assist with accessing the community, ensuring her safety at all times
- Help reduce anxiety and navigate social situations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role or relevant training (e.g., The Care Certificate)
- Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Certificate
- Commitment to equality of opportunity for all staff
Working Arrangements:
- Approximate 9 hours per week during term time (Tuesdays 5pm-8pm and Sundays 12-3pm)
- Potential increase to 10 hours per week over 2 days during school holidays
Salary: £16.50-£17.50 per hour (dependent on weekday or weekend work)

Location: Working from the family home of the young lady
