About the Role

Cartrefi Cymru Co-operative seeks an experienced and empathetic Adult Autism Support Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality care services.

In this role, you will work closely with individuals with autism, supporting them in making informed decisions, developing life skills, and participating in community activities. Your expertise and compassion will enable individuals to build confidence, foster independence, and live fulfilling lives.

We offer a competitive salary of £22,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development within our organisation.

Requirements
  1. BA(Hons) or equivalent in a related field (e.g., social work, psychology, education).
  2. At least 2 years of experience working with adults with autism or similar conditions.
  3. Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  4. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  5. Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
