Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the development and implementation of individual care plans for residents.
  • Maintain high standards of care, monitoring and evaluating programs to meet resident needs.
  • Provide personal care assistance to residents, respecting their dignity and privacy.
  • Encourage independence and promote active lifestyles for residents.
  • Administer medications and maintain accurate records.
  • Plan and supervise daily activities, ensuring a stimulating environment for residents.
  • Lead by example, promoting good leadership skills and teamwork among staff.
  • Participate in quality assurance initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence within the home.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience caring for older adults, people with disabilities, or those with mental health needs.
  • NVQ/QCF Level 2 Award in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) and willingness to work towards Level 3.
  • Good organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • A caring and empathetic disposition, with a commitment to respecting residents' dignity and autonomy.

Salary: £13.03 per hour, £13.13 with NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Health and Social Care ( estimated annual salary: £27,000 - £30,000).
