Job Title: Shift Supervisor

Thorn Baker Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Supervisor to join our team in Warrington. As a Shift Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our timber frame manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise a production team on a rotating shift pattern, ensuring the highest level of safety, environmental, and product quality standards are maintained.
  • Work across different areas of production, including automated cutting departments, production lines, product wrapping, and dispatch.
  • Develop and train team members to carry out tasks in their area of expertise, promoting a high-performance culture.
  • Collaborate with the opposite shift to achieve shared goals and targets.
  • Ensure all safety and environmental policies are adhered to, including conducting checks and recording data.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a manufacturing supervisory position, preferably in the timber frame or housebuilding industry.
  • Natural leadership and communication skills, with experience in managing and developing a large team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train production staff to achieve deadlines and quality standards.
  • Thorough understanding of Health and Safety procedures and policies.
