We are seeking an experienced Shift Supervisor to join our team at Thorn Baker Construction. As a Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising a production team within a timber frame manufacturing facility, ensuring the highest level of safety, environmental, and product quality standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise a production team on a rotating shift pattern, ensuring productivity and quality standards are met.
  • Manage and develop a large number of people in a fast-paced environment, promoting a safe working culture.
  • Ensure all safety and environmental policies are adhered to, including conducting regular checks and recording data.
  • Work collaboratively with other shifts to achieve shared goals and targets.
  • Develop and train team members to carry out tasks in their area of expertise, promoting a high-performance culture.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a manufacturing supervisory position, ideally within the timber frame or housebuilding industry.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train production staff.
  • Thorough understanding of Health and Safety procedures and policies.
