Steel Erector Job Opportunity

Premier Group Recruitment is seeking a skilled Steel Erector to join our client's team in Gloucester. Our client specializes in steel construction and is looking to expand their workforce with a dedicated professional experienced in erecting steel structures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Erect steel structures, frameworks, and components on construction sites
  • Assemble and install steel beams, columns, and girders according to specifications
  • Operate cranes and lifting equipment to position steel components
  • Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Collaborate with team members and contractors to meet project timelines
  • Inspect and maintain equipment for proper functioning
  • Perform welding and bolting tasks as required
  • Identify and resolve issues during the erection process

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in steel erection and construction
  • Relevant certification or qualification in construction or a related field
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures
  • Physical fitness and ability to work at heights
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • A keen eye for detail and commitment to quality workmanship

About the Role:

The Steel Erector will be responsible for erecting steel structures, frameworks, and components on construction sites. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in steel erection and construction, as well as relevant certification or qualification in construction or a related field.
