About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Support Worker / Team Leader to join our team at NFP People T/A Social Care People. As a Senior Support Worker / Team Leader, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of Support Workers to ensure high-quality care and support is delivered to service users.
  • Develop and implement individual care plans that meet the unique needs and goals of each service user.
  • Conduct regular supervision and training sessions to ensure staff are equipped to provide the best possible care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support is provided.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care plans and make adjustments as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
  • Participate in on-call duties to provide 24/7 support to service users.

Requirements:

  • NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
  • NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) to be achieved within a specified timeframe
  • Demonstrable understanding of the legislative requirements around care of vulnerable people
  • MCA and DOLS understanding of the requirements
  • Strong numeracy, literacy, and computer skills
  • Broad knowledge of Learning Disabilities and other related conditions
  • Participating in on-call essential
  • Living within a 20-mile radius of Malvern is essential
