Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Events & Groups Manager to join our dynamic team at Marriott International. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing and converting incoming enquiries, providing exceptional customer service, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and convert assigned enquiries, ensuring seamless communication with customers and hotel departments.
  • Coordinate all customer requirements, including menu planning, meeting room set-ups, and audio-visual standards.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize revenue and drive repeat business.
  • Work closely with the Banqueting Operations and Kitchen team to create new F&B concepts and menus.
  • Ensure accurate use of systems and processes to maintain booking integrity and consistency.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets, generating incremental revenue and delivering exceptional guest service.
  • Effectively manage bedrooms blocks and meeting space inventory for assigned groups.
  • Conduct compelling show rounds to win business and execute Meetings, MSA.
  • Proactively resolicit previous customers and event bookers for future opportunities.
