Job Summary:

We are looking for a Disability Support Coordinator to join our team at the City of Wolverhampton Council. This role involves working with adults and children who require specialist support due to physical or sensory impairments.

The successful candidate will conduct assessments of need, provide recommendations to enhance independence, and work in both community and clinic settings. This hybrid role is based at The Independent Living Service, where you will also assist the duty team with triaging referrals and responding to immediate needs.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and possess a strong understanding of occupational therapy principles and practices. A background in healthcare or a related field is essential for this position.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £29,093 - £32,654 per annum, depending on experience.
